Video: Sneak peak at Gozzer Ranch, a luxury golf community on Lake Coeur D'Alene

As I noted in my Best of 2010 Golf Travel Awards, few golf clubs do V.I.P. quite like Gozzer Ranch Golf & Lake Club, a relatively new community overlooking Lake Coeur D’Alene in northern Idaho.

In the following video, Jim McPhilomy, superintendent of the golf course and Discovery land Company veteran, fills us in on how the course was plotted along former ranch land that spectacularly overlooks Lake Coeur D’Alene. The Lake rounds out the experience at Gozzer, where members have access to all sorts of boating and water sports.

Now, I didn’t get much video inside the famous Comfort Stations at Gozzer Ranch, if only to spare my fellow colleagues the evidence of us all stuffing our faces with ice cream, Tootsie Rolls, popcorn, root beer and whatever other sweets we could get our hands on.
