Travel Video: The new White Clouds golf course and more at Sun Valley Resort in Idaho

Last summer I visited Idaho’s Sun Valley Resort, one of the west’s great ski destinations, to check out the summertime vibe.

What I discovered was a little bit of golf and a whole lot more under the sun. This spot famous as a Hollywood getaway decades ago still attracts star power, as we enjoyed performances from Garth Brooks and ice skater Sasha Cohen. There are many ways to stay active in the summer, including golf at the new 9-hole golf course, White Clouds, plus a new clubhouse and putting course.

Here’s a video package on all the new stuff happening at Sun Valley, on the course and off. A look will shed some light on why I called Idaho my favorite state in 2010.
