Most of the golf courses in Myrtle Beach love enticing golfers with free P.M. replays. The rub, in many instances, is that you can’t book that replay round until you’ve finished your A.M. round that morning.

Glen Dornoch is the most visually-pleasing, not only set along the Intracoastal Waterway, but it also has some of the most severe undulation change of any course, and several holes make use of it wonderfully (though I still find the finishing 18th hole a little funky).

A bit off the beaten path in Conway, Shaftesbury Glen is a traditionally inspired course designed in the mold of A.W. Tillinghast, and has raised, great bent grass greens that will likely be rolling pure during these cooler months.

The third, Heather Glen is a pleasant, heavily-forested test that is a fun play, even if it doesn’t exude a traditional Scotland vibe as some marketing materials might suggest. As the only 27-hole course of the three, you have the chance to see a third, unseen nine in your P.M. round.
