Stay and play at Pinehurst Resort this winter for $199 while No. 2 is closed
Pinehurst No. 2 is closed this winter for its Bill Coore-Ben Crenshaw renovation project leading up to the 2014 U.S. Open and Women’s Open. But that hardly puts a wrench in Pinehurst Resort’s golf and spa offerings.
This winter, you can stay and play in Pinehurst for as low as $199, which includes a night’s stay in the Carolina Hotel, a daily breakfast buffet and rounds on any of the other seven golf courses, including Pinehurst No. 4 and Pinehurst No. 8, my two other favorite Pinehurst golf courses, both designed by Tom Fazio (though worlds different from one another). With the Evergreen Golf & Spa package, guests can also substitute a round of golf with a treatment at the Spa at Pinehurst, ranging from beauty treatments to massages. The package is valid now through February 22nd. Visit Pinehurst.com for package details.
Pinehurst No. 2 is slated to reopen in March, 2011.
