Play Pebble Beach Golf Links dirt cheap while benefitting the San Francisco Zoo
If you’re a golfer who’s always dreamed of playing for Pebble Beach Golf Links but didn’t want to pony up the dough, you might want to listen up. If you’ve always had a soft spot for animals as well, you may as well get your credit card out.
That’s because a special has just been released at Pebble Beach that doesn’t come around very often. In celebration of the 80th anniversary of the San Francisco Zoo up the road, a generous benefactor has bought rooms in the Pebble Beach Lodge and blocks of tee times on Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill and are opening them up to the public for a steeply discounted rate.
The package includes a round on Pebble Beach and a second on Spyglass Hill as well as two nights in the Lodge. The dates are firm though, checking in Wednesday, July 22nd and checking out July 24th, which will be the day you have your round on Pebble. The package starts at $1,500, 41% off the rack rate. Rooms are also available at Casa Palmero for a surcharge.
All proceeds from the package will benefit the San Francisco Zoo, who will host a cocktail reception the opening night, where you can ask all the zoo questions your heart desires. If you’re interested in booking, email email@example.com or call (415) 753-7061.
(Blogger’s note: The special has been somewhat sweetened as of July 10th. Now, if an individual organizes a foursome, he get
the package for himself for free (basically a buy three packages get one for free deal). Also, a couple of individual packages, which is two nights at the lodge with no golf, are also available for $750).
No, I don’t get a cut from the bookings, but if you end up booking, be sure to rate Pebble Beach for us at WorldGolf.com’s Exit Polls!
