Fight breaks out on shuttle bus among drunk media after Ryder Cup Matches

LOUISVILLE, KY – This is what happens when free beer is served after dinner in the media center…

If you saw the European team’s press conference Sunday night on the Golf Channel, you know the media was feeling a little feisty.

It turns out they went easy on Faldo.

According to our shuttle bus driver from Valhalla to downtown Louisville, her van turned into The Octagon.

“There were two Americans in the van and the rest British,” she recalled. “One of the Americans said something about Sergio’s putting…and they started arguing.”

It’s about a 30-minute drive from Valhalla to the downtown hotels. The argument escalated along the way.

“When we arrived at the hotel, they got out of the van and went to blows,” she added. “They scratched my van!”

I'm getting tired of the self-righteousness of certain Euros. Seems they are always correcting the behavior of Americans, yet cannot see themselves. Are you listening, lee Westwood? Tell me that you first told Sergio to quit inciting the crowds, then I might listen to you chiding Boo Weekley for the same thing. Ever been to an english football game? Sheesh, they make us look like pansies.

And guess what - Sergio putted like Stevie Wonder all weekend, save one long one Saturday afternoon! Now, you want a piece of me????

The Americans are poor winners and poor sports. If Boo represents your country no wonder you guys are in trouble.

Sorry, euroman, you would be whining in German if not for Americans.

C'mon now, that was funny. Perhaps taking yourself a little less seriously is in order, Euroman.

Whoo-hoo! More proof that golf is about as relaxing as a house-to-house search in a Sunni neighborhood in Baghdad.
