Calendar girl Natalie Gulbis is now a winner on the LPGA Tour after her victory at the Evian Masters, and the golf blogosphere has responded, as is their way. Here’s some of what they have to say:
At Golf Girl’s Diary, Patricia Hannigan celebrates the fact that Natalie Gulbis is no longer the Anna Kournikova of golf. And if you want to see why the Golf Girl is by no means the Kournikova of the golf blogosphere, check out the feature article on the lovely Patricia at BadGolfer.com, because she may be a “bad golfer” but she sure looks good and has fun doing it!
The Golf Chick is having an “I told you so” moment - she knew all along that Gulbis was more than just a pretty face and was capable of coming out on top against the world’s best women’s golfers.
Does Bill Wolfrum really think Gulbis should be jailed for desecrating the U.S. flag, or is he just nuts?
How bad is Natalie fever at the moment? Well, even Geoff Shackleford has jumped on board, showcasing a shot Ms. Gulbis in a bikini that he accidentily stumbled across.
Outside the Beltway still thinks Gulbis is somewhat overrated, but is still someone who should have a productive career on the fairways.
Golf.inq, the blog of Philadelphia Enquirer golf writer Joe Logan, takes a look at what Gulbis had to say after her win. As well as posting some pics of both Kournikova and Gulbis.
And finally, C’est Magnifique! says Mulligan Stu at Waggle Room (and also gets a picture of a bikini-clad Natalie in for the heck of it.
