Tiger Woods not the only new daddy on Tour and other golf blogging celebrations

A week without a golf major means golf bloggers can get down to other important business, like congratulating new parents and bloggers who have stood the test of time:

  • Tiger Woods new daughter Sam Alexis is getting all the press, but let us not forget to welcome Lisa, Henrik Stenson’s new daughter, to the world, says Miranda at Even Par Round.

  • If Karen Palacios-Jansen says you need to improve your golf IQ to improve your scores, well, I believe her, and so should you.

  • Tony at the Hooked on Golf Blog has some blog birthdays worth mentioning - Happy B- Day to Grouchy Golfer and Eat Golf!

  • Ok, it’s not about golf that often, but the Sports Law Blog is an excellent read.

  • At the Caddy Shack, Ian Andrew is up to No. 5 on his list of the greatest non-active golf architects of all time. Let’s see why George Thomas rates ho highly.

  • At Eagle Par Birdie we find that not everyone is afraid to make changes if the course gets too tough for the pros.

Keep blogging!!

What? You mean Tiger Woods isn't the only golfer to have fathered a child (or, for that matter, to have lost a parent?)

According to the Champions Tour, the U.S. Senior Open is a major. Sorry, this is a week with a major championship.
