Kid Rock, Tiger Woods, Bill Russell and Joe Morgan give golf bloggers a star-studded time
The stars are out, and golf bloggers are catching them.
Golf Logic is highlighting a story out of Detroit, where a high school golf team had its golf clubs stolen, but were saved by Kid Rock, who donated six sets of Taylor-Made clubs to the school.
Tiger and Michael Jordan weren’t the only famous pair to play recently, as the Metropolitan Golf Links Weblog in Oakland, Calif., was honored to watch former NBA star Bill Russell play a round with baseball hall-of-famer Joe Morgan.
