A Blog contest champion and other happenings for TravelGolf.com and WorldGolf.com bloggers
Sometimes a girl doesn’t even need to leave home to find all the blogger news her little heart could hope for. That’s what the case is right now, as looking around at the TravelGolf.com and WorldGolf.com bloggers, I see lots happening.
First of all, I have been remiss in giving a warm welcome to WorldGolf’s newest blogger, the ruggedly handsome CB Maxwell. CB has been around golf for many years and brings his unique musings to these pages after becoming the first winner of the “Your Name Here” Blog Contest.
And it seems CB got a warm welcome from TravelGolf.com blogger Ron Mon, who welcomed CB in his own style:
“I wrote a response to CB Maxwell’s maiden blog, where he told us every stinking, unimportant detail of his life, except what brand of toilet paper he favors (I’m told it’s Charmin.)” wrote Ron Mon.
Meeeoowww! We’ll see if those to can get along in the upcoming weeks.
Other WorldGolf.com and Travelgolf.com bloggers have been keeping busy, as well:
– Brandon Tucker has been a traveling man, visiting Scotland and Portugal and telling us all about it.
– Spencer Hux enjoyed the Links Course at Wild Dunes in Charleston.
– William K. Wolfrum pleaded with John Daly and Britney Spears to tie the know after both announced they were getting divorced, an idea that Golf Girl Patricia Hannigan liked quite a bit.
– Chris Baldwin announced how little he liked broadcaster Dan Patrick, an idea that the Web site Deadspin was unimpressed with.
– Dave Marrandette was one of the bloggers to weigh in on Tiger Woods’ plan to become a golf-course designer and readers didn’t seem to like his opinion much.
– Golf for Beginners is wondering if Annika Sorenstam is taking PR advice from Michelle Wie.
Whew. So much happening here, I don’t even have time to talk about what other bloggers are writing about. Not even Jam Boy’s latest missive, which is not to be missed.
Keep Blogging!!
