Luke Swilor takes his best shot but comes up a shot short in PGA qualifying
Our blogging-golfing friend Luke Swilor showed how far he’s come this week, but sadly, it wasn’t quite far enough. Luke missed the cut by just one shot at the 2006 PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament in Dayton, Nevada after closing out with a strong 69.
Here’s what Luke had to say:
“My 69 left me -4, one shot short of the qualifying number. More specifically one man short. I was T28th, top 27 and ties made it.
It’s hard to explain the depth of my frustration, but I’ve always got next year.”
Head on over to Luke’s blog, “Luke Swilor’s Road to the Tour” to let him know how well he did and that this is just a small bump on his “road.”
Keep blogging!
