I got severely roasted 2 years ago when I sent a letter stating the Americans are not a "Team" when it comes to playing in the Ryder Cup. I stated that the PGA Tour players' enviroment is a contrast to the European Tour players. You cannot change the American players by copying the Euros so they can compete as a team. Let the players be themselves, enjoy the experience and most of all DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY if a shot is played poorly or a putt is missed!

The Ryder Cup is a pro event played for "amateur" purses. It has all the appeal of the Pro Bowl in football or the All-Star games in basketball and baseball. Let the promoters put up 20 million or so, winner take all. I'd watch that.
