Bloggers tell stories of losses on and off the golf course
Just thought I’d take a look at three good golf bloggers who always have something interesting to tell us all.
Jim Apfelbaum at Golf Digress learned the hard way that being a gentleman doesn’t always trump knowing the rules, as he conceded a hole he shouldn’t have in match play. Now can Jim find a new lucky marker?
The Golf Nomad got to enjoy one of the great, unpublicized pleasures of being a golfer – going out as a single and getting put with three interesting golfers that are missing a fourth. This time, the Nomad found himself set up with three heavy betters, including the guy he was playing with - who lost $1,620 by the time Nomad called it a day.
Over at Green Posse, Dale Chavez looks at Tiger Woods, Chris DiMarco and Darren Clarke and how they all have been forced to deal with loss this year as the Ryder Cup comes upon us.
