Golf bloggers are busily typing away about everything from PGA players not understanding basic economics, to where to golf in Kentucky!
MattB makes nothing but sense at Golf Times when he questions if PGA Tour pros understand capitalism when they complain about Michelle Wie getting exemptions.
“We live in a capitalist society, that basically means, for good or bad, that money rules. The players benefit handsomely from this system because TV stations pay big money to the PGA to air their product so they can then turn around and sell advertising space,” writes Matt.
The Armchair Golfer has been thinking about Ben Hogan’s practice habits. And he also hasn’t played golf in almost exactly six months – but I hear he’ll finally be playing in less than a month.
Finally, at the Travelling Golfer, Mike Sigers is looking forward to the Kentucky Derby, and gives golfers some great ideas on where to play and where to stay.
