Golf bloggers are heating up along with the weather

Friday April 21, 2006 | 07:11:23 am 183 words, 2330 views

As the weather has warmed up, so has the golf blogging, as some excellent writing is going on and some excellent subjects are being tackled.

It’s a hot time for golf in Texas and Bogey McDuff is keeping us updated on it all at Texas Golf. Not only is the Houston Open underway, but also some Futures Tour events will be held in the Lone Star State.

And how about some applause for Bruce Hooper, a 59-year-old from San Antonio who just recently won the Blind Golf Championship with scores of … are you ready? … 80 and 82.

The Undaunted Duffer has really created an entertaining blog. His look at a possible British Open jinx is a fun read, and a plausible theory.

The Caddy Shack is constantly humming, as Ian Andrews is a relentless blogger and deserves kudos for such. He has a two-part blog going right now that appears like it will be at least a three-parter before it’s done.

Check out Ian’s thoughts on Peterborough Golf & Country Club in Ontario, Canada, as well as how liability effects a design process.

Keep blogging!!
