While I’m off playing games, other golf bloggers are getting ignored. And let me just start with this – many of you that we feature at Worldwide Golf Blogs have been updating your blogs like crazy. Great work, everyone!
Bogey Man is one of a number of the bloggers to talk about the PGA Merchandise Show – but better yet, he actually got to go there! He should have blogs from what he learned there coming for quite some time.
Miranda at Even Par Round has a gripe about CBS’s TV coverage – which seems to be fine if all you care about are guys named Phil or Tiger:
“CBS’s coverage seems to be heavy on aerial shots and slow mo video of Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods and very light on actual golf. It seems as though they show other crap while they are waiting on Tiger and Phil to get in position for their next shot. Here’s an idea - there are about 70 other players out there, why not show some of them while Phil and Tiger are walking around or going potty,” writes Miranda
Finally, lets say hi to a couple new golf bloggers – Tom Govern at Point 1 Golf and Steve Porter at Metropolitan Golf Links.
Steve’s the head pro at the Oakland, Calif. course, and has been blogging about myriad topics, most recently Environmentally-sensitive areas on golf courses.
Tom has had eight entries since his blog started less than a month ago, and will be focusing a lot on the Chicago golf scene.
Great to have you guys on board, keep up the good work!
