While generally I prefer golf blogs from happy little hackers like Golf Chick, Undaunted Duffer and the Armchair Golfer, there’s still a place in my heart for those out there trying to make a buck or two from their golf blogging. A small place, but a place.
One that I must say I’m impressed with is the Golf Adventure Guides Blog. It seems Rob Babcock is trying to take his knowledge and experience of golf in Scotland and Ireland and make a little business from it, and I say bully for him.
Regardless of your opinions of the business end of blogs, Babcock has put together some interesting blogs about golf in Scotland and Ireland, including one that includes a movie on Doonbeg Golf Club, which just got two thumbs up from TravelGolf’s Kiel Christianson.
Still, while it’s worth a look, Rob needs to update his blog more often and add more personal touches, like say Mulligan Stu before it can make it to our revered, Worldwide Golf Blogs section.
