TravelGolf.com bloggers have different views on being Skinned

Tuesday November 29, 2005 | 06:23:31 138 words, 1191 views

Sometimes a girl gets so breathless by what’s going on outside that she overlooks what’s going on in her own backyard.

So right now, we have dueling opinions from two of our TravelGolf All-Stars on this past weekend’s Skins Game.

First, our newest addition Shanks writes about how nice it was to watch Tiger Woods and the gang let loose and have some fun, especially with Fred Funk looking to read putts in his best dress.

On the other side of the coin is Ron Mon, who enjoyed some of the shenanigans, but wanted to see the golfers turn up the heat when big money was at stake at the end.

Finally, our friend Golfff does a little free association, Stephen Wright style:

“Putters don’t grow on trees. The ones up there are 3-putt helicopters,” riffs Golfff.

Thanks for the welcome, Heather. I think Ron Mon must really be a closet accountant!
