Golf bloggers see through Bamberger's ploy

The Grouchy one lives up to his name with a little talk about Michael Bamberger’s new book This Golfing Life. Seems Grouchy feels Bamberger’s recent help in getting Michelle Wie disqualified falls in the same category as rapper Kanye West’s outburst against George Bush (West, ironically, had an album coming out that week).

The relentlessly suave Brent Kelley is at it again, this time tempting golfers (and the ladies) with a barrage of equipment-related blogs, including a look at TaylorMade’s new irons.

Finally, lets welcome Golfff to these pages. He wastes no time in getting to the good stuff, as he talks about his recent round where he was paired with a long-driving champion. Watching him tee off on the first hole left Golfff nervous, but it doesn’t appear he was embarrassed by the distance champ.

“The massive club head became a blur as it ripped through the top eighth of the ball. . .the giant firing pin had missed the center of the bullet. The Titleist accelerated off the tee and shredded a path through six good size brittle bushes about 50 feet in front of us,” writes Golfff.
