Golf bloggers making and buying their own golf news

Friday October 28, 2005 | 09:40:21 am 166 words, 1347 views

Unimpressed by recent golf news, it appears, golf bloggers are hitting the links themselves lately.

First of all, a hallowed streak has ended. The Armchair Golfer finally got out of the chair and on to the course after 169 days. And then he shot an 86. So, perhaps the real trick of this game is to play every six months or so only.

Greg at New 2 Golf makes his way to this blog, and it seems he’s quickly getting the hang of things as he writes about how he recently shattered the 100-mark with a sizzling 94.

Finally, Golfchick didn’t hit the links, but did something near and dear to every female’s heart – she went shopping … for golf equipment.

“I purchased a new Ogio cart bag with all the bells and whistles,” wrote Golfchick. “It had the right type of club dividers I wanted and its color scheme is called “chocolate” so how could I go wrong with that.”

Golf, shopping and chocolate: Golfchick has found the perfect trifecta.
