Next on Big Break IV: Golf blogger vs. golf blogger

Friday September 30, 2005 | 03:48:31 pm 140 words, 1317 views

Ahh, once again, a golf blogger has shaken my faith in, well, a golf blogger.

This time it’s Bogey McDuff who tears apart Jennifer Mario’s analysis, calling Big Break IV a “Big Yawn.” Now, who’s a girl to believe?

AllCarry has a nice little bit on the over-under bet for how many holes Annika Sorenstam will outdrive Fred Funk in the upcoming Skins Game. AllCarry puts the mark at seven holes, but Funk has been warned that it better not happen once.

“Tiger came up to me the other day and said Annika is the fourth. He said, ‘If she outdrives you once, you will never, ever, ever hear the end of it,"‘ said Funk.

Finally, Media Guru says a fond farewell to George Archer, who passed away this week. Twelve victories and a Masters championship were on Archer’s resume.

Hey, I like Fred Funk, but can someone tell me how he got into the Skins Game?

Actually, Bogey's blog came first, so technnically, you would say I was the one doing the "tearing apart."

Sure it did, Jen ;)

And Phil, it seems obvious to me that they decided the Skins Game would be that much better if they just put a little "Funk" in it.
