Golf bloggers question Mickelson's sincerity, learn why not to steal balls

Wednesday September 28, 2005 | 09:31:30 am 135 words, 1340 views

Ah, when nobody is hunkered over an important putt, the golf bloggers start getting catty.

Of course, I’d never call Grouchy catty, but he has a few stinging zings for Phil Mickelson (do you think he’s fake?), some respect for Tiger Woods for being a regular human in the clubhouse, and some applause for Ernie Els for being everybody’s favorite good guy.

Miranda at Even Par Round is making her first stop in this blog today. She’s talking about the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro and is rooting for Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose to do well. Be careful, Miranda, if it were up to Tim McDonald, there’d be a limit on car sponsors for tournaments.

Finally, Golf Punk is showing off a warning sign at an unidentified course. Seems they take golf-ball theft VERY seriously.
