Reality TV and Homer Simpson keep golf bloggers inspired
With little of any real importance going on, golf bloggers are doing their best to make the miniscule seem massive.
First of all, that notorious ladies man Brent Kelley gives us a run down of the golf channel’s Big Break IV. This time they set it up to be a U.S. vs. Europe battle, but Our man Brent is having nothing to do with that.
“One of the golfers talked about how great it was that he was playing for his country. Dude, you’re playing a manufactured contest in a reality TV series that has nothing to do with country,” said Kelley.
The owner of 84 Lumber did a little schmoozing to get Phil Mickelson to play at this year’s 84 Lumber Classic, reports Mulligan.
Finally, Jam Boy had a rough day caddying, and found all the answers where they usually are: The Simpsons.
“You see kids? You tried your best, and you failed miserably. The lesson here is: never try.”
Yes Jam Boy, Homer Simpson is a man ahead of his time.
