U.S. Congress and Bill Murray agree: Golf Bloggers deserving of special attention

Ah, my dear golf bloggers, it was only a matter of time before the governments of the world took notice. At the Golf Blog, Mulligan tells about how the U.S. Library of Congress wants to collect their blogs.

“The United States Library of Congress has selected your Web site for inclusion in the historic collection of Internet materials related to the Supreme Court,” was the message Mulligan received.

Hmmm, watch out Mulligan, this sounds like the start of a suspense thriller. Eventually, they’ll come take you away. Shhh, you didn’t hear that here.

Media Guru gives an account of his 8-year-old daughter’s first date at the Champion’s Challenge – with Bill Murray.

“There were crowds so thick around his cart that they were five deep in all directions. He was introducing my daughter as “his wife” and posing for pictures with her. Murray called Jim Furyk over to meet her and Furyk gave her an autographed golf ball,” wrote the Guru.

The Guru found his daughter, who was happily slurping a snow cone that Murray had given her. They grow up quick, don’t they, Media Guru? This reminds me of the dalliance I had with Sean Connery when I was 19. But I think I’ll leave that story for another time.

LOL - and Sean was what...like 80 then? Cool to know you go for the 'older, richer' guy - had you pegged for someone "playing for the other side"! ;) Maybe Rebel has a chance after all????

The original and only James Bond could be 125 and still catch a girl's eye, my dear.

Rebel, on the other hand? Well, not so much.

;)
