Golf bloggers hack away at the PGA Championship at Baltusrol - but why?

Oh, it’s wonderful to be back covering blogging. I spent the last six weeks on a Bob Geldof-sponsored mission to the Congo Basin in Africa, teaching the indigenous people the skills they need to become successful golf bloggers. They dawdled some, but their outfits were just darling!

First of all, The Golf Blog is one of a few sites that featured brief factoids on the PGA Championship.

Now why would I need two paragraphs updating me on the leaders of the final major of the year? I can find that information anywhere, so try harder, eh fellas?

The Bogeyman gives his thoughts on Callaway’s new HX Tour 56 ball and lets you know what some others are thinking about the ball, as well.

Robert Thompson has been spending some time on the links and tells you his thoughts of Canadian clubs Weston, Georgian Bay Club and Sequin Valley. He takes a delicious little jab at the Sequin Valley course:

“While it does feature some pretty great settings, the dull bunkering, which often reminded me of a bad muni, and the simply goofy routing and holes on the back really hurt any feeling I had for the course.”

Heather!! They're giving you scores because they don't know enough about the game to comment on anything else! Did we hear anything about the very significant fact there were 2 over the top par 4s at Baltusrol? And the obvious reasons for that? Or what an incredibly dated and overbunkered test it was? No! Let talk weather and strokes.......
