Rolling 9-hole course in the middle of nowhere but close to picturesque lake. Several long holes. Narrow fairways with hard, baked, stony ground as the 'rough'. Fantastic 9th hole - about 130 yards to edge of gorge with water. About another 130 yards over gorge to green. Bridge provided for golfers! However, course fees seem expensive for what you get as well as cost of a taxi to get there. Caddies obligatory - about 2 pounds and well worth it. You would not want to spend a whole week here but worth playing a couple of times if in the area. Don't expect it to be as professionally maintained and run as the Royal title implies.
