Links Course - a good test of golf, especially if the wind blows ! Original architecture - Old Tom Morris, 1891. The home of Stableford, with a long history, e.g. original Bobby Jones portrait hangs in the clubhouse - the only one he signed (copy in Augu sta). Used in past Open Championships with the adjacent Royal Liverpool (Hoylake) G.C. Joint venue for millennium Open amateur championship.
